MOVING

On my last trip to Venezuela, my connecting flight was through Istambul and I couldn’t miss the chance to visit the city and try to get some good shots. My focus went directly to the people rather than the architecture (I’ll save this for the future), and I have never been more correct in setting priorities.

THE
GOAL
To capture the essence of Istanbul’s culture, daily life, and the daily commutes of its people in the brief window of my layover in Istanbul, (6 hours).
I found the locals to be not only friendly but also enthusiastic about posing for photos. This got me the opportunity to capture candid and genuine moments. Regardless of my chosen location for photographing people in Istanbul, I was able to create some of my most distinctive and unforgettable portraits, showcasing the city’s rich diversity and the beauty of its people.
